After being spotted for the first time last year, the BitMarmot (a buddy of mine, an individual marmota monax specimen – also known as a “woodchuck”) has emerged once again from his riverbank abode (back home in Connecticut, the most American place in the Universe).
He’s asserting himself a bit more confidently this year:
And he’s quite fat despite a long winter, it would appear.
I couldn’t be happier.
